When Apple introduced the notch on MacBook Pro, it left a lot of screen real estate just… sitting there. We thought that space deserved better. That’s why we built Landing — a native macOS app that transforms your notch into a living, breathing Dynamic Island.

Why Dynamic Island on Mac?

iPhone users already love Dynamic Island. It surfaces the right information at the right time without interrupting your workflow. On a Mac — where you spend hours deep in focus — that kind of contextual awareness is even more valuable.

With Landing, your notch becomes a hub for:

• Now Playing — See what’s playing in Apple Music, Spotify, or any media app. Album art, track info, and playback controls all live in the notch.
• Notifications — Instead of disruptive banner notifications, Landing catches them in the island with smooth, delightful animations.
• Timers and Live Activities — Cooking timer, meeting countdown, or Pomodoro session — always visible, never in the way.

Built for macOS, Not Ported

Landing isn’t an Electron app or a web wrapper. It’s built entirely in Swift and AppKit, which means:

• Instant response times — Animations run at 120fps on ProMotion displays.
• Tiny memory footprint — Typically under 30MB of RAM.
• Battery friendly — Less than 0.5% CPU usage in normal operation.

We obsessed over every pixel to make Landing feel like it was always meant to be part of macOS. The blur effects, spring animations, and transitions all follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

Privacy First

Landing processes everything locally on your Mac. Your notifications, media info, and activity data never leave your device. There’s no account to create, no cloud sync, and no telemetry. The app works entirely offline.

Download Landing from our website, drag it to Applications, and grant notification access when prompted. That’s it. Your notch will come alive within seconds.
